The Minnesota Natural Legacy Campaign is a group of concerned citizens who have joined together to protect Minnesota’s way of life.
The Minnesota Natural Legacy Campaign recognizes that human activities are changing the Earth’s climate in a way that threatens our natural heritage, our economy, and our quality of life. As hunters, anglers, business people, conservationists, farmers, and religious leaders, we believe these challenges require prompt, responsible action from our national leaders.
The Minnesota Natural Legacy Campaign is working toward effective, common sense solutions that will protect the quality of Minnesota’s water, air, land, and wildlife and promote new opportunities for agriculture and business.

The Minnesota Natural Legacy Campaign (MNLC) applauds Senator Norm Coleman for announcing his support for legislation that will create a national cap and trade system to combat global warming. “We applaud Sen. Coleman's leadership on this issue, and for setting an example for other senators to follow," said Kelly Scanlan, Director of the MNLC. "This is great for Minnesota, and great for the effort to solve climate change. Supporting a cap and trade system will not only protect our environment, but create economic opportunities for workers and businesses across Minnesota.”
